Alex is a recent graduate of the prestigious Birmingham School of Acting where he completed his post graduate diploma in Acting.
Alex’s love for acting came apparent while studying politics at Illinois State University. He was asked to perform a role play during James Earl Jones charity visit to the college. From that day Alex became a keen follower of all dramatic arts and became active in his local theatre scene in Chicago. Once back in the UK he continued his acting and decided to focus solely on becoming an actor.
To say Alex has screen presence maybe understating it slightly; standing at 6 foot 6 inches Alex cannot be missed when appearing on stage or screen.
Alex is strong when performing Shakespeare; since leaving drama school Alex’s highlights have been his performances in ‘Much Ado about Nothing’ playing Borrachio and ‘Mid Summers Nights Dream’ playing Demetrius. Alex attracts roles which lend themselves to his height, stance and dramatic intensity, he’s a great baddie!
Other skills include a strong baritone singing voice and he will try his hand at many musical instruments, guitar being another of his passions and strengths. Alex is also a bearer of the nationally recognized certificate in stage combat which he also gained while studying at BSA.
Passionate and well read in theatre and film, Alex is currently at work on Dennis Kelly’s play ‘After the End’, which he plans to take to the Edinburgh Fringe next year.
Both versatile and enthusiastic, Alex is a talented and exciting performer a very imposing actor in every sense of the word.
